Position Description
Deque is looking for a new addition to the Marketing team. In this role you will evolve Deque’s brand language and tone, set the editorial calendar and create compelling, discoverable content that helps generate awareness and demand for Deque products, services, and training.
The entire company is growing and so is the marketing team! These are exciting times at Deque with customer momentum and a ton of technical innovation Generative AI and computer vision is transforming this space; first within the SDLC lifecycle increasing efficiency of developers, designers, testers and accessibility leaders and, second, enabling creators to deliver experiences that are natively accessible from day one.
As a key member of a small, but mighty Marketing team, you will help lead and create amazing core content for deque.com & Deque thought leaders. This position will report to the VP of Marketing.
Our ideal candidate for the Senior Brand Content Marketing Manager position is an excellent writer who is in tune with today’s enterprise buyers and technical communities. This candidate will need to be able to collaborate with a variety of subject matter experts to help continually improve the deque.com experience.

- Collaborate with product marketing, product management, executive team and internal experts to deliver compelling content and narratives for all consideration stages that speaks to Deque’s brand promise and differentiation.
- Lead the editorial calendar.
- Evolve Deque’s style and tone to resonate with our audiences, while imposing and reinforcing a consistent information architecture.
- Reimagine and develop Deque’s thought leadership program
- Work in the WordPress or equivalent CMS to publish your content .
- Coach and partner with the digital and program teams on social media, email copy, landing pages etc. as necessary.
- Report on activities and outcomes with stakeholders like Leadership and Product Management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience creating stellar content and webpages in B2B tech, preferably developer oriented startups or SaaS.
- Experience with Content Management Systems like WordPress.
- Experience with web analytics and reporting systems like Google Analytics.
- Experience writing with SEO in mind.
- Experience creating targeted, early-funnel content.
