The Snow-covered Capitol

December 17th, from 5-6pm EST is our next #a11ychat, and the final #a11ychat of the year! I can hardly believe it's almost 2013!

We hope this month's topic will get some of you thinking about your accessibility compliance plans in the new year. Our topic is: "Addressing the Challenges of Section 508 Compliance at the Federal Level". We'll be looking at the differences between Section 508 and WCAG, the challenges of implementation, and discuss the future of 508 regulations and compliance.

In addition to the usual team of Paul Adam, Denis Boudreau, and Glenda Sims, we will be joined by some members of the Deque team who are actively working with government agencies to make their web content accessible to everyone.

Join us for a lively public Twitter discussion on Section 508 compliance! If you are planning to join an #a11ychat for the first time, make sure to check out our "how to" guide!

If you would like to stay up-to-date with Deque, sign up to receive Deque News right to your email inbox!
