Americans with Disabilities: 2010 Reports There are Nearly 1 in 5 People in the US with a Disability

It is the 22nd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the new Americans with Disabilities report from the US Census reports that nearly 1 in 5 people in the US have a disability, and over 60% of individuals reporting a disability report having a severe disability.  The study also shows that only 41% of people with disabilities are employed.
