In this talk, I’ll present some of my top learnings from my 24 years studying high-performing technology organizations.  I’ll share what I learned from the State of DevOps Research, the importance of architecture and fast feedback loops, and why paying down technical debt is so critical in our work.
Finally, I’ll share what I’ve learned about why functional specialties, such as accessibility, information security, and legal, have worked so hard to “shift left” in order to integrate into everyone’s daily work — this has been informed by the work I’ve been doing with Dr. Steven Spear towards a theory of organizations, which will be in our upcoming book “Wiring The Winning Organization,” coming November 2023.
