UX designers often sit at the intersection of many disciplines that can contribute to an overall accessibility program. As a human-centered practice, UX design has the opportunity to influence product direction and raise awareness of accessibility-related opportunities. Accessibility-oriented designers can advocate and educate organically and help bake accessibility into products. This presentation examines designers as a critical node in the network of activities and opportunities that can help develop an accessibility-minded culture.
