Time to advance beyond universal design into equitable design as one size truly does not fill all. Products are becoming more advanced, and consumers need multiple methods of accessing a product as their needs vary. This talk is intended to talk about the powerful potential of Voice UX, a mode of controlling the hardware or software with one’s voice. As AI becomes more advanced, the opportunities are truly endless to support those who have mobility disabilities with accessing products, those who are blind with inaccessible menu screens, and even those who are elderly with manipulating complex user interfaces. Learn real-world strategies as accessibility veterans Kelly Goto and Colin Wong take you through some real-world scenarios and examples of how this new tool can be implemented.
