Digital accessibility is a civil right of disabled people, making the difference between inclusion and exclusion. This talk will be a lightening overview of what’s happening in the United States legal space: lawsuits, negotiations, state and federal laws, regulations, and government agency guidance. It will also touch on the growing global digital accessibility legal framework, how ethics fits in, and offer resources to help you stay current. This is a talk for everyone: whatever your role let’s put the law in our pockets to help build an inclusive digital world.
