The e-commerce mega menu – it seems that these menus are getting more “mega” by the day – growing in size, content, and complexity! In a desire to jam-pack as much content as possible for a variety of reasons, new mega-menu designs and implementations are causing a whole host of accessibility issues for users.
In this talk, we’ll discuss menu design patterns and the usage for each. We’ll then dive into accessible menu implementations for keyboard, mouse and screen reader interactions and review live examples of these best practices.
