The Amaze Digital Accessibility Grant
At Deque we are committed to developing new technologies that make the web accessible and to fostering new talent and projects that can help us achieve this mission. In this spirit, we would like to announce the Amaze Digital Accessibility Grant.
The Amaze Digital Accessibility Grant is a grant for $10,000 that will be awarded to the applicant whose proposal best exemplifies an innovative technology or project that will contribute to making the web accessible.
In addition to receiving the $10,000 grant, the winning applicant will receive a stipend of up to $5,000 to attend the 2014 California State University Northridge’s Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference in San Diego (also known as CSUN, dates TBD) and will deliver a presentation on their project.

All application materials must be submitted via our online form by 11:59pm EST on Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 May 9th, 2013 – Global Accessibility Awareness Day! The applications will be reviewed by a panel of Deque’s accessibility experts. Finalists will be asked to interview with Deque senior leadership team. The announcement of the finalists and winner will be made in June.
