Open-source contributions
Over two decades ago, In an effort to unify automated testing standards and counteract controversies and inefficiencies that were hindering progress, Deque open-sourced Axe-core, our accessibility testing tool engine. Today, Axe-core is used by 13 million GitHub projects, available in 18 languages, and has been adopted by Google, Microsoft, and other global leaders.
Deque University Scholarships
If you have a disability, you qualify for a scholarship for free access to Deque University’s online, in-depth digital accessibility curriculum for one full year. To date, we’ve awarded 7,500+ scholarships and counting. People with disabilities are experts in inaccessible experiences, and the world needs more accessibility experts. These scholarships enable people to acquire the necessary skills to become accessibility specialists and help achieve our shared mission of digital equality.

We follow the same accessibility blueprint we recommend to our clients and leverage our own testing tools to shift left and maintain a practical, scalable, and sustainable internal program. We also strive to create an inclusive workplace culture by supporting a remote-first approach, contributing to ongoing skill development, and integrating inclusivity into our core values and brand standards.
