Account Executive – Europe, French and English Speaker

Position description

Deque is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our growing European team. As part of
our international sales expansion, this role will be responsible for driving new business and
expanding Deque’s footprint on existing customers within a defined European territory. The
Account Executive will work both directly and through channel partners to develop and close
strategic sales opportunities across multiple verticals, including public and private sector
organizations.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in B2B software sales.
Understanding of accessibility and a passion for enabling inclusive digital experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to qualification, presentations, stakeholder
    alignment, and deal closure
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with customers and prospect
    accounts across Europe.
  • Manage and grow relationships with local value-added resellers (VARs), system
    integrators (SIs), and Deque strategic partners to co-sell and drive pipeline.
  • Create territory plans, account strategies, and forecasting updates using Salesforce
    and other internal tools.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and support product demos tailored to the client’s
    business drivers and accessibility needs.
  • Collaborate with Deque’s Solutions Engineers, Services team, and Partner Managers
    to provide the right solution mix.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at
    all levels (leadership, technical, legal, and procurement).
  • Participate in local events, accessibility initiatives, and executive briefings to
    promote Deque’s mission and capabilities.
  • Accurately track opportunity progress, maintain pipeline hygiene, and ensure
    documentation of deals aligns with legal and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying experience in B2B software sales (SaaS preferred), with
    consistent overachievement.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to develop trusted relationships with C-
    level and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with or through partners such as digital agencies, SIs, or VARs.
  • Experience using Salesforce, MEDDICC, or similar sales methodologies and tools.
  • Able to travel within Europe (approx. 20–30%).

Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with accessibility, digital experience optimization, or web compliance
    (WCAG, EAA, EN 301 549) is a plus.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle or digital accessibility is a
    strong advantage.
  • Experience selling into highly regulated industries (finance, telecom, government) is
    a plus.
