Director, PMO

We’re seeking a strategic execution leader to establish, scale, and lead a high-impact Project Management Office (PMO) that transforms strategy into predictable outcomes. In this pivotal role, you will act as an executive backbone between executive vision and delivery reality, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, governed, and delivered with discipline and transparency.

You will own the delivery engine, from portfolio intake and prioritization through execution, value realization, and continuous improvement, enabling the organization to operate with clarity, confidence, and speed.

• Design and enhance PMO operating model that drives clarity, accountability, and execution excellence
• Transform project and portfolio management from reporting mechanics into a strategic decision-making capability
• Shape portfolio governance to ensure initiatives align with business priorities, capacity, and ROI
• Establish delivery frameworks that enable predictable, on-time, on-budget execution
• Implement metrics and dashboards that provide actionable insights into delivery health, risks, and outcomes
• Partner with Finance and Operations to drive accurate forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Project Managers, and PMO analysts
• Act as a trusted advisor to executives on trade-offs, risks, and delivery strategy
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, tooling, and automation
• Track and execute account plans that align with both client objectives and our business goals
• Develop the team to be able to spot and create new opportunities

• MBA from a respected institution
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in project and portfolio management
• Proven experience building or scaling a centralized PMO
• Strong understanding of enterprise delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong financial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, and value realization
• Exceptional communication and executive-level influence skills.

Timezone

• EST time zone (from 8 am to 5 pm EST)

• Experience in professional services, SaaS, or technology-driven organizations
• Familiarity with PMO and delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Mavenlink/Kantata, MS Project, Salesforce)
• Exposure to global or distributed delivery teams
• Experience in Accessibility
