Aparna is VP, Services at Deque. In addition to leading accessibility service projects, Aparna works on creating accessibility measures for great user experience, designing accessibility standards and preaching the same.
Aparna’s bio
Aparna Pasi is an experienced professional in accessibility and software engineering, currently serving as the Vice President of Professional Services at Deque Systems – APAC since May 2016. She has held various roles at Deque Systems, including Director of Professional Services and Senior Accessibility Consultant, in addition to being a member of the WCAG working group at W3C. Prior experience includes positions at Cognizant as a Senior Accessibility Consultant, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar as a Teaching Faculty and Research Associate, Nokia as a Software Designer, and Lappeenranta University of Technology as a Researcher. Aparna holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from LUT University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Andhra University.
