Aparna’s bio

Aparna Pasi is an experienced professional in accessibility and software engineering, currently serving as the Vice President of Professional Services at Deque Systems – APAC since May 2016. She has held various roles at Deque Systems, including Director of Professional Services and Senior Accessibility Consultant, in addition to being a member of the WCAG working group at W3C. Prior experience includes positions at Cognizant as a Senior Accessibility Consultant, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar as a Teaching Faculty and Research Associate, Nokia as a Software Designer, and Lappeenranta University of Technology as a Researcher. Aparna holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from LUT University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Andhra University.
