Kate is the Chief Operating Officer at Deque, where she partners with the leadership team to build the operating rhythms and clarity that help great people do their best work. With 16+ years of experience scaling and transforming businesses, she brings a focus on clear priorities, strong teams, and sustainable growth to advance digital equality.
About Kate
Kate is an operator who has spent her career getting results where customers, product, and people meet. She started in field sales through Stanley Black & Decker’s Leadership Development Program, built a national network of independent sales operators at Bormioli Rocco, and moved into software at Grovo and then Cornerstone OnDemand. There, she led the online learning content business, growing it from $25M to $130M while making it profitable. She built and developed high-performing teams through several acquisitions, two founder-to-CEO transitions, and everything in between.
Outside of work, Kate is a runner, an avid podcast listener, and a community builder who loves seeing the world through her kids’ eyes. Their curiosity and openness fuel her passion for making the world more accessible to all. She holds a B.S. from the University of Delaware and lives in New Jersey with her family.
