HERNDON, VA – October 14, 2021 – Deque Systems, the trusted leader in digital accessibility, announced today a number of renowned, expert speakers participating in axe-con 2022, which will take place virtually on March 15-17, 2022.
Axe-con 2022 is an open and inclusive digital accessibility conference welcoming developers, designers, business leaders and professionals of all levels to a unique event focused on building, testing, and maintaining accessible digital experiences. Over 17,000 people registered for last year’s inaugural axe-con in 2021 event, making it the largest assembly of accessibility professionals ever.
Sir Tim Berners-Lee, distinguished computer scientist and inventor of the world wide web, will deliver the keynote address, sharing his insight on empowering the web to work for all users.
Joining Berners-Lee at axe-con 2022 are prominent figures across the digital accessibility industry. Thus far, the list of speakers includes Rachel Andrew, technical writer for Google, Regine Gilbert, UX designer, author, and digital accessibility advocate, Ian Hamilton, gaming accessibility specialist, and Steve Sawczyn, digital accessibility lead for HealthPartners.
These renowned leaders join other notable speakers presenting at axe-con 2022, including:
