Steve was introduced to digital accessibility in 1994 while working at AbleData, the national assistive technology information service that served people with all types of disabilities. As the manager and lead content provider for the AbleData national assistive technology information website for almost two decades, he realized the importance of integrating accessibility into the design, development, and testing of all digital experiences and developed a passion for accessibility. As a Senior Accessibility Consultant and Accessibility Coach at Deque, Steve brings this passion and over 25 years of experience in web and document accessibility to guide clients on their accessibility journey. He has worked with a wide range of commercial and government clients and loves sharing his expertise in web and PDF accessibility.
