Silviu is a Software Developer at Adobe, where he started his career as a Developer in Test. Previously worked at Microsoft. Primary maintainer for the Downshift npm library.
He is passionate about building accessible components and experiences by implementing WAI-ARIA patterns and recommendations. There is so much we can achieve by using the web and it is our duty as developers to make sure our apps are accessible and inclusive.
Silviu also enjoys enhancing the quality of unit and e2e testing infrastructures. Software development is so much easier when you have a safety net that offers the confidence you need to ship great features without bugs.
Last but not least, he supports open-source software and tries to contribute to the projects he is using as much as he can. Silviu believes in being proactive when encountering an issue or an enhancement opportunity in an open-source project. A bit of effort invested in a Pull Request might go a very long way for the community.
