Justin is an Accessibility Consultant at Deque. Serving as an accessibility coach, he works within client development teams helping them learn how to incorporate accessibility into their work. As a blind screen reader user, Justin knows the importance of building accessible experiences so people with disabilities can enjoy the same level of independence as their non-disabled peers. Prior to joining Deque, Justin was an accessibility specialist for Rio Salado College, a Phoenix-area community college, where he focused on making online course content accessible and served as president of Ability Maricopa, the affinity resource group for employees with disabilities within Rio Salado College and the rest of the Maricopa County Community College District.
