Alexis Lucio (she/they) is a queer chicanx femme from Southern California. She spends her work week as a Senior Accessibility Designer at GitHub, where she helps raise awareness of web accessibility (a11y) best practices and contributes to making GitHub a home for all developers. Previously, Alexis took on first and/or only designer roles at Splunk, kickstarting the company’s a11y program, and Sysdig. In their spare time, you can find Alexis engaging with their communities through performance and affinity spaces.
