Scaling Accessibility in a Complex Enterprise: Lessons from Audits, Adoption, and Shared Practices
Description
Scaling accessibility is ultimately a shared understanding challenge—not just a tooling or training one. We focused on strengthening interaction expectations and reusable UI foundations through accessibility reviews, design system improvements, and centralizing practical authoring guidance that supports teams where they are. These efforts helped us identify where accessibility practices were taking root and where additional structure or clarity was needed. As the industry moves toward more adaptive and AI-supported interfaces, accessible interaction patterns become even more essential, and these foundations help ensure clarity, consistency, and shared expectations regardless of how interfaces are assembled or delivered.
