Devon and his awesome co-workers drive the digital strategic initiative for State Employees’ Credit Union of North Carolina (SECU). SECU is a rapidly growing 50 billion dollar financial institution with millions of members and active online users, working to address challenges and collaborate creatively to enforce a digital banking experience that truly embraces SECU’s motto of “People Helping People.”
With a business background and years of experience in the online and mobile technology spaces, Devon uses a competitive knowledge of the financial services industry through a digital lens to partner with industry-leading solutions providers and push the product roadmaps and implementation of SECU’s digital platforms. With consumer empowerment, equality, and member experience at the core of everything they do, SECU Digital highlights the importance of engraining a strong accessibility plan within the design, product development and delivery lifecycles, and continuously evaluates the needs of all of their users.
Devon graduated with degrees in Economics and Management from the University of North Carolina in 2013. He has secured a number of certifications in the product space around the scaled agile framework, product management and ownership, and business and design analysis. In his free time, he enjoys a round of golf, hanging out with his lab-border collie mix named Rae, and driving to the beach or the mountains for a weekend getaway.
