Jenny is the current Vice President and Chief Accessibility Officer at Microsoft, a technologist, and operations leader working in technology for 25+ years. She has been Chief Accessibility Officer since 2016, working across the company to design and build accessible products, services, and workplace. Initially joined Microsoft in 2005 to work on Hotmail and build large scale technical and customer operations. Went on to work on variety of products and domains including Advertising, Privacy and Digital Safety before pivoting to focus on accessibility. Now manages inventory of over 6000 products, websites and tools, buildings and empowers disabled talent across the company. She is executive sponsor of the Disability Employee Community, and a member of Microsoftâs Inclusion Council.

Identifying as deaf and disabled, Jenny brings a user-centered perspective to her work viewing accessibility as a critical driver of innovation for the world. Passionate about building technology right, with durable scalable processes and leading the future with AI.
She leans on the insights of employees and customers to create technologies and services. Launching initiatives like the Disability Answer Desk which has provided technical support to 1.5million+ disabled people, Neurodiversity Program, and the annual Microsoft Ability Summit, now in its 16thÂ year, with 20,000+ attendees. And instrumental in creation of new products, technologies and realizing the potential of AI and Accessibility.

Jenny serves on the boards ofÂ Disability:IN,Â ITV, andÂ Team Gleason,Â and has been recognized by the White House as aÂ Disability Employment Champion of ChangeÂ (2014), Fast CompanyâsÂ Most Creative People in BusinessÂ (2017),Â ForbesâÂ Future of Work 50Â (2023), and received several awards including Jim Thatcher Lifetime Achievement Award, John D Kemp Inclusion award (2023),Â WomenomicsÂ Inclusion Award (2025) and identified in topÂ #100 in Accessibility by ForbesÂ (2025). She was awarded Honorary Doctorate in Engineering by University of Sheffield in 2024, MBA in 2007 from University of Bradford and B.Mus Hons in Music from Sheffield in 1997.

Marta Ortigosa is an expert product designer and accessibility specialist at NTT DATA, where she contributes to its Digital Inclusion community of practice. Over six years she has assessed the accessibility maturity of large organisations — from EU public institutions to banking, industry and telecoms — and defined the strategies that make accessibility sustainable, supported by expert audits, and training for different roles. Alongside this she shapes digital products: leading vision and strategy workshops, defining information architecture, user flows and interactions. She designs products that include everyone, with her strongest ground in transactional and complex interfaces. How people navigate technology without a mouse isn't an edge case to her, it's a test of whether a product genuinely works.

Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web while at CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory, in 1989. He wrote the first web client and server in 1990. His specifications of URIs, HTTP and HTML were refined as Web technology spread.

He is the co-founder and CTO of Inrupt.com, a tech start-up that uses, promotes and helps develop the open source Solid platform. Solid aims to give people control and agency over their data, questioning many assumptions about how the web has to work. Solid technically is a new level of standard at the web layer, which adds features never put into the original spec, such as global single sign-on, universal access control, and a universal data API so that any app can store data in any storage place. Socially Solid is a movement away from much of the issues with the current WWW, and toward a world in which users are in control, and empowered by large amounts of data, private, shared, and public.

Sir Tim is the Founder, Emeritus Director, and an Honorary Member of the Board of Directors of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), a Web standards organization that he founded in 1994 which develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential. He is a Director of the World Wide Web Foundation that was launched in 2009 to coordinate efforts to further the potential of the Web to benefit humanity.

He is the Emeritus 3Com Founders Professor of Engineering in the School of Engineering with a joint appointment in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Laboratory for Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence ( CSAIL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he founded the Decentralized Information Group (DIG).

Research at DIG and its collaborators was the origin of what became the Solid Platform.

He is also a Professor in the Computer Science Department, and an Honorary Student at Christ Church, at the University of Oxford, UK. He is President of and co-founder the Open Data Institute in London.
