Axe DevTools Mobile now supports Jetpack Compose! Android launched Compose as a new toolkit for building application UIs easier and faster than ever before. Now, in the same axe DevTools Android framework you’re already familiar with, you can test accessibility of views built declaratively with Compose in your Espresso UI tests.

While we continue to build upon and support manually and automatically testing views built with XML, we’re now ready to catch any accessibility issues seamlessly within your existing CI/CD flow.

Whether your new and/or existing apps are built with XML or Compose, we have solutions for testing any feature, any time, on any Android device. With our CI/CD integration, we’ll help you catch issues faster and before they reach testing and production in your Android development ecosystem.

The mobile world is always changing. Sometimes, it seems, faster than the speed of light! We are here to help you stay on top of the mobile market and ensure that your products are accessible to everyone. Current axe DevTools Mobile customers should speak with their account executive or customer success manager to find out more. If you’re using Compose today and you’re not yet taking advantage of the most comprehensive mobile testing in the industry, contact us. As with all of our products, we welcome your feedback on this new release of axe DevTools Mobile. Stay tuned for more exciting axe DevTools Mobile updates!
