Baldan is a Frontend Engineer, part of the Accessibility team at Miro. Originally Italian, he has now been living in Berlin for about 3 years. Before working on the Web, he spent a few years doing academic research for the EU project SkAT-VG at the IUAV University of Venice, in the domains of Digital Audio and Signal Processing. He now applies his skills and knowledge in Sound and Music Computing to explore the uses of multimedia content fruition in the field of Web Accessibility, especially in its less regulated, standardised, and semantically structured parts such as the HTML Canvas.
