Summary

Deque is a looking for a senior sales executive based in Washington DC Metro area to drive new enterprise license business. With direct responsibility for identification, contact, qualification, and development of qualified new accounts, the right candidate should be equally comfortable cold calling or presenting the solution to C-level government executives. A strong network of federal contacts with a strong track record in Federal software sales is essential.

Primary Duties

  • Deliver on agreed sales targets
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Manage a complex sales cycle with multiple buying influences
  • Complete the sales process from beginning to closing using the Solution Selling methodology

Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum five (5) years experience selling enterprise software solutions to federal clients at the C-level in ECMS, Web IDE's, Web Compliance, or Web Services is required.
  • SI business development and a proven track record reflecting delivery and retention of profitable partner relationships is required.
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local government customers funding, evaluation, and procurement life cycle is required.
  • Superior communication and sales presentations skills is required.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quota is required.
  • Strong understanding of web compliance and maintenance issues, guidelines, and laws governing government information technology, and business process associated with risk management is desired.
