Deque Systems Releases Amaze 3.0 For General Availability

Deque Press ReleaseMay 27, 2014 – Herndon, VA – Deque Systems today is announcing the newest release of Amaze, the only patent pending product that enables developers to fix web accessibility defects ten times faster*. After two years of use, extensive collaboration with the development community, and thorough testing, version 3.0 is now widely available.

The Amaze product integrates the following resources:

  • Amaze Library: performs the common tasks required for accessibility in library functions that have been tested on all the major operating systems, browsers and assistive technologies

  • Developer Tools: allows front-end developers to implement and test code working inside the browser with a much more efficient workflow than without the Amaze tools

  • Amaze Server: lets developers fix 3rd-party applications or legacy applications where a rebuild is impractical as well as serves as a mechanism for sharing accessibility fixes with other team members

The complexity of developing for multiple browsers, numerous assistive technologies, in addition to mobile devices like smartphones and tablets means that the challenges and costs of accessibility are growing.
